Who authorized that agent? A bank will have to prove it.
Banks will deploy AI agents in credit, collections, compliance and customer service before their supervisors know how to review them. Today, Unica records every act of an agent under the authorization of an identified person, in a signed record, in the bank’s own cloud account.

The problem
A bank already answers for every decision. Soon it will answer for its agents’ decisions too.
A bank already answers for every credit decision, every anti-money-laundering alert and every collection. When an agent approves a credit line, closes a complaint or negotiates a payment plan, the supervisor will ask the same question an executive is asked today: who authorized it, under which policy, and how it is proven.
Today that answer depends on the model provider’s logs. For internal audit, the external auditor or the supervisor, that is not enough. For a bank whose parent is in the European Union, from 2 December 2027 it is not enough for the AI Act either.

How it works
Four steps, all with a signed record.
Authorization
An identified manager authorizes the agent for one function. That authorization is revoked with immediate effect.
Today
Agent act
The agent approves, declines or escalates under that authorization, and each act stays tied to the person who gave it. Refusal of acts outside that authority comes in 2027.

Signed record
Who acted, under whose authorization, and when. Every record is signed: a later alteration breaks the signature.
Today
Verification
Today, the signed record stays in the bank’s own cloud. Verification on one’s own machine, without access to Unica, comes with the verifiable evidence package: as a service in 2027 and as a product in 2028.
