Use cases
Who authorized that work order?
The same question a supervisor is asked today: who authorized it, under which rule, and how it is proven.
The situation
The example comes from the mining page.
The maintenance superintendent authorizes an agent to open and prioritize the work orders of their area, and to take a piece of equipment out of service when vibration passes a threshold.
The four steps, in the mining example
Authorization
An identified person authorizes the agent for one function. That authorization is revoked with immediate effect.
Today
Agent act
The agent acts under that authorization, and each act stays tied to the person who gave it. Refusal of acts outside that authority comes in 2027.
Illustrative example The agent detects a failure pattern on a conveyor belt, opens the order, marks it as a priority and keeps the equipment out of service until inspection; the act stays tied to the superintendent who authorized it. In 2027 refusal of acts outside authority arrives: an order on equipment in another area will not go through.

Signed record
Who acted, under whose authorization, and when. Every record is signed: a later alteration breaks the signature.
Today
Verification
Today, the signed record stays in the mining company’s own cloud. Verification on one’s own machine, without access to Unica, comes with the verifiable evidence package: as a service in 2027 and as a product in 2028.
Illustrative example After an accident, the company investigates and the mine safety inspector reviews what happened. With the evidence package, the inspector checks on their own machine who had authorized the agent that day and when it acted.

Who asks for proof
The safety inspector, internal audit or the external auditor, and the board.
With the evidence package, the mining company gives the auditor the acts of its maintenance, environment and contracts agents in the same signed record, instead of three reports prepared by hand.
