Agent governance

Who authorized each act.

An identified person delegates authority to an agent, and every act of the agent sits under that authorization.

The question someone will ask

When an agent approves an application, closes a complaint or negotiates a payment plan, the supervisor, the auditor or the board will ask the same question a person is asked today: who authorized it, under which rule, and how it is proven.

Today

Authorization per person

The agent acts under the authorization of an identified person, and each act stays tied to the person who gave it.

The value is simple: for any act of an agent, the organization knows which person authorized it.

Today

Immediate revocation

When the person changes post, or the authority no longer applies, the authorization is revoked with immediate effect.

The signed record shows the date of the revocation.

2027

Refusal of acts outside authority

Refusal of acts outside authority comes in 2027: the person will delegate with limits, such as products, amounts, matters and time frames, and Unica will refuse an agent’s act that exceeds them.

Illustrative example

A collections agent negotiates payment plans under a manager’s authorization. When she leaves the post, her authorization is revoked and the record shows the date. From 2027, a payment plan with a larger discount than the one delegated will be refused.
